We can’t wait to welcome our families to the Homestead, both two and four legged.
The first inhabitants of our little farm at Nature’s Atelier will be two of these very cute, and wet, young Alpacas (Cria’s). They will perform the very important job of being guards for our goats, sheep and chickens when they grow up.
They will also provide us with the long term project of shearing them for their wool, carding and dying the wool, spinning and felting the wool rovings and weaving and knitting the spun wool. We have a spinning wheel and a loom just waiting to be used.
