At Nature’s Atelier we have made a commitment to live as lightly as possible on the land.
However council regulations required us to have 37 parking spaces sealed and marked. To me this was a huge space which was going to impact on the land in such a negative way. So….. I did my homework and found a solution which would provide stable ground for traffic but also allow the water to drain through and vegetation to grow. These mats are laid on flat surfaces then filled with soil and grass seeds so that the carpark will be a grassed area. We are the first in the Busselton area to get approval for this solution. It was not cheap but it will allow us to keep striving for our goal of living lightly on the land.
Oh and another bonus, the mats are made of 100% recycled material
